The Midsummer Hare was originally written as a musical for narrator and small orchestra with music by Peter Creswell. It has been performed many times in the past few years in Suffolk churches and at Clare Hall in Cambridge.
The book is the story of a young hare and his adventures one midsummer day. It is illustrated with Sue Heaser's unique illustrations of hand-marbled papers and silhouette drawings of the hare and the animals he meets. Suitable for all ages from 7 to 107!
